Girls are sometimes choice less, this is how they behave because if she reply to you, she make think that she too cheap, just give her some time and prove your love to her(caring, always be there for her, smile with her always) but if didn't work, know that she maybe dating another guy or might be afraid of being in a relationship.

It all depends what context you said it in, if it was a generally context like, haha love ya mate then its probably something else maybe not even you that'supset her. Whereas if it was a serious way ssuch as you mean everything to me... I don't want to loose you as a friend... I love you then she s probably scared , she's doent want to loose her friend by hurting his feelings or she doesn't want to try and loose you later in life. In future pluck up the courage to say it in person yes regection will hurt but nowhere near as much as leaving over someone for years then seeing them have a family with someone else? Speak to her if you like her that much nothing can hold you back.

1) You shocked her, and not in a good way.
2) She's too nervous to tell you that she likes you back.

hi im a girl so ive got a kind of idea for girls that have been weird when guys say that I luv you.
my suggestion is that try seeing her in classes or lunch and recess and write a song to impress her that you really really love her or send something that really sparks her heart and then she may go back on track again. because some girls may get nervous to say that she might love you also and might be nervous for some reason. Also she might have a boyfriend probably doesn't want to tell you because you might get mad or something.

At least you told her how you felt. You should ask her again (this time in personal) about how she feels. If she still doesn't talk to you, don't mind her. Don't waste your time on her 'cause there are other girls out there who would appreciate you more than her. My point is, you're friends and she shouldn't ignore and throw away your friendship just like that just because she knows you like her.
