scottyg1968's response: Why would a teacher ask such a question? They are hired for their guidance and mentorship. This person seems to be bullying. Talk to your parents and they can talk to the School Counsel or Parent's Teachers Association.

scottyg1968's answer: Sounds like the normal function of the mask. There is a small plastic flap that releases every time you seal the mask and this popping sound is the result of that small apparatus functioning. By the way; change the filter.
