Insurrect...

I currently own an Avon S10 gas mask, and it has been making a popping sound. Does anyone know why?

Sounds like the normal function of the mask. There is a small plastic flap that releases every time you seal the mask and this popping sound is the result of that small apparatus functioning. By the way; change the filter.
