KBDB's answer: Yes, generally the one who causes the damage is responsible (or the parents if that person is too young) to pay for repair or replacement. As long as it’s clear who caused the damage and they take responsibility.

KBDB's comment: Sorry you mean ‘be allowed to bring in’? Still I think not. Should come in the same category as chocolate. Many schools won’t allow chocolate for the reasons above. Chocolate milk will be included in that.
