My boss, aka the assistant manager, told my general manager to only give me one day a week. All because she didn't like my attitude. Now at the time I was washing dishes, and was a little annoyed because my skin would always break into rashes because of the sanitizer. I had mentioned to the assistant manager that this occurs, as well, but nothing was done. So knowing that my skin would be irritated, I stayed silent washing dishes in frustration. My assistant manager noticed and asked what's the matter, and I told her I just don't like doing dishes. She responds with,"well everyone has to do them. " I just stayed quiet. 10 minutes later, I was pulled from dishes, and sent home. Next week, I was only scheduled once. I just would like to know what others think. Personally, I find this ridiculous and unprofessional.

But if you're washing dishes, wouldn't you have gloves? Or is the sanitizer something you have to apply directly on your hands? If anything, you could have just bought your own sanitizer and recommended it to the manager/s as a substitute for the current one. But having one day to work is ridiculous. They might as well fire you if that's the case.
I did ask my general manager for some, he said he'll order it but that was a month prior to everything happening.
