Hi mom and dad I am fine here and hope the same for you. The admission process was successful. I met a student in collage who lives near my hostel, he is very nice guy, he helped me a lot and told me many things about the country, so I went and visited a few tourist spots nearby with him. Meanwhile I spent some time with my room-mate, he is also very nice but very talkative as well. He told me that he is in "country name" for higher studies like me and told me so many things about his family and " his country's name".
I think it is a good start, I have got a hostel close to collage and made a few friends. I'll tell you if I need some kind of help but for now I am fine.
