My Dream - Great at art; want to become some sort or inventor, entrepreneur, and great animator/cartoonist. I want make a couple animated cartoon series and be well-known and wealthy like Seth MacFarlane (creator of Family Guy).
The Money - Stay in school? In my 1st year of college now to study accounting for a good salary. Parents want me to have a gov job (IRS) for great benefits and so that my family and I can be 1st priority when disaster strikes.
What would you do for you? What would you do if you were me?
Would you follow the dream or the money?

Well I think, for me you should follow first you parent, it's for the money of course. Then after that follow your dream, follow what your heart desire. Make your parent happy first by doing what they want you to be and then make your self happy by doing what your heart or what you dream about to achieve.
If I were you, I would follow the dream that made money, because we need both. We need to fulfill our passion and we also need to have money. But as soon as possible, I would take an exit from this highway of dreams and money, realizing that dreams are just dreams and money is only ours as long as we are alive. I would go in quest of the true meaning of life. I would find out what the purpose of our life is on earth…why did we take birth? What will happen at the end when death strikes? We know what to do when a disaster strikes but we don't know what happens when death strikes . I would spend my time, my energy in realizing the Truth. For this will give me true peace and happiness beyond what my dreams and money can give me.
I agree with the said answer. But I totally disagree with what FauxPas said. That was rude and inappropriate. You should learn some manners, sir.
Agreed atmaninravi
Or in other words, "If I were you, I'd be buddha".
