Would the euro have replaced the pound if we had remained in europe?

No because we were in europe for all those years and the euro did not replace the pound then so why would it have now. Also we have royalty and as long as we have royalty ( which we always will) we will always have the british pound because we live in britain and the pound is british and queen elizabeths face is on it.
