It wouldn't harm. Some countries are very insular and unaware of what goes on in the rest of the world. At heart, I believe people are all the same, regardless of colour of skin, religion, sexuality. We are all driven by the same needs and I think it's useful to recognise our similarities rather than point out and pick at our differences. Living in someone else's culture or having them live in yours can help you not only understand another culture (and see the similarities) but understand your own.
Yeah, it is absolutely right. An extensive trip always knowledgeable because you get more time to stay there which helps you to understand their tradition, culture and the mentality of local citizens. You can easily understand their thoughts which are more important to analyze their strategy of growth.
