like a book that just says flat out "Hey! You Mormons! Your not really christians!" or "Actually-this is what God means when he talks about homosexuality-Not what all you CRAZY christians are saying." or "What's the big deal with the 'Bible'?"-stuff like that...would anybody 'want' to read it?

No! Listen, I'm going to be frank with you, EVERY christian group seems to think all other christian groups have got it all wrong. Those who believe gays should be persecuted, women are worth less than men, and that those who preach other religions should be silenced can EASILY back up their position with scripture from the bible Mostly old testament stuff, but not entirely), but then the all-loving, all-embracing christians can also talk about loving thy neighbour and doing unto others as you'd have them do unto you.
From both their perspectives the other side has got it wrong. The fire and brimstone people are seen as backwards and dogmatic, whilst the happy-clappy kind are seen as a watered down version of the original. So no one is going to appeciate you adding your voice to the thousands of squabbling people arguing over exactly what the Bible means when it tells you to do three or four dozen contradictary things.
That's a good question. Most people would read it, if it tickled their ears on what they favored. The Bible is the only book that tells the truth about anything concerning how God wants to be worshiped, however in many homes it sits somewhere collecting dust.
It does not refer to christianity vs. world views & religions? Rather it refers to, who God is, what God's purpose is, how we fit into that purpose. John 17:3 says, "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ".
As a result of this knowledge, one can decide to apply or deny the information.
(Deuteronomy 30:19, 20) says, "I take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today that I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the curse; and you must choose life so that you may live, by loving your God, by listening to his voice, and by sticking to him, for he is your life".
This is what God told the Jews, a very long time ago. He has not changed.
