I hate letting those people watch our children, but I was desperate. They are so irresponsible. I yelled and screamed at them and my older stepdaughter , she knows better than to sit in the front.
She will be punished. They said they had no where to put her. The smaller kids were sleeping in the back and she is almost five foot and weighs 90 pounds. I told them they need a bigger car. I ranted to my fiancé about this and he said was uh huh and whatever,like it was no big deal.

If you want my honest opinion, I believe all these rules are suffocating them - both the kids and their grandparents who wish to help in their own way (though it may not seem so from your perspective). That would be the reason for various forms of defiance you've been encountering (such as them running away). There might be an additional discrediting element in the "step" title, but it's secondary.
As for someone who will listen, that may range from trivially simple to impossibly difficult. If you're willing to accept part criticism, part sympathy for venting (possibly not extremely polite), that's practically ubiquitous. Someone who will be agreeable to your beliefs & take your side - depends on incentive & personality (for example, psychologist or family member). It's rare for a human to have such low bias as to be capable of understanding another's point of view naturally.

I need advice and someone to listen to me. I feel like being a stepmother is a thankless job.
