Right now I'm working full time as a retailer and at the same time studying for my Private A levels and doing volunteer work during my off days.
I'm planning to get into Medicine school and the requirements are pretty tough such as getting all As for every subjects and doing volunteer work /participate in outside school activities and has 3 rounds of interviews and writen paper.
One of my main concern is that since I'm super exhausted everyday and even on my off days I still need to study and do volunteer work. And during those days when I'm working(11am-930pm) is like by the time u reach home, I'm too tired just to do anything. And the subjects I have to study is really content based. So right now I'm thinking of switching to a part time job becuz of the lesser hours but at the same time I find it a waste becuz during this period I could have gain atleast one year experience in retail(I tot I could use this as an advantage during the interviews) becuz of the fact tat I jus wasted one year just to study my A levels and at the same time I got my Full time experience
And just a slight background about myself I graduated from a Diploma in Retail Management this year and becuz I didn't score a perfect gpa(requirement for med sch is perfect gpa) I kind of felt the need to spend another year doing my A level just to get into Medicine School(instead of going to another career path e.g. going to a University in Business). To be honest I hated my 3years in Retail (we only cover those general part of business I would say it's basically the same as all the other business school course) and ofc the only thing I like is interacting with the customers and doing my job properly and push the sales.
Anywayss what do u guys think? Shall I stay as a full timer or go on as a part timer? And do u think by saying I have a one year experience looks good on during the interview?
