My daughter stayed at a friends last night and accidentally left her thong in their bathroom. Her so called friend saw it and noticed it had a small and I mean small skidmark in it. Now her friend has started making fun of her and has told all of her male friends. So much so they are starting to call her skiddy!
Now, I know it's so childish and her friends are being so juvenile, but it is one of those things that is sooo embarrassing especially for a teenage girl. I feel for her and I know that she isn't an unhygienic girl, and I have 3 daughters and I've never noticed this to be a general problem for her, infact, as I also generally wear thongs I would even go as far as saying she gets skidmarks less than I do! I've said to her that unfortunately if you wear light coloured thongs that she will occasionally get a skidmark. I also said to her that her so called friend would no doubt have the same issue as she apparently also wears thongs all the time. What annoys me is that even if my daughter never had a mark again in her life it seems thanks to her "friend" this will stick with her forever! I'm so annoyed with her friend I've even considered inviting her round for sleepovers in the hope she leaves her undies around so that I can potentially embarrass her!!
I guess in short, the reason I am posting this is to hopefully get some mature responses that show my daughter that for women yes it's bloody embarrassing to get the odd skidmark, but unfortunately, especially if you wear thongs sh1t sometimes happens, even to the cleanest person on the planet, however, no-one ever wants to admit it.
So here I stand in an effort to let my daughter know most/all women get an occasional skid mark. I hope others join me!
