No bruising or swelling, like this all week, pain sometimes goes away for a day but comes back the next day? Is there something wrong or?

Possibly cramp? Try and stay really highdrated and see if things improve.
Can be caused by repetitive overloading of the foot e.g. jumping, kicking and running especially if there is muscle weakness and tightness or a sudden increase in activity levels.
Shoes that are too tight, calf tightness, spending long periods on your feet, altered foot biomechanics, walking/running on uneven surfaces or simply dropping a heavy object on your foot.
Treatments would be rest it. Try using crutches for a couple of days or not putting any weight on it.
Change your shoes or re lace your shoes to see if this helps.
