With how much speed and incline one should run on treadmill to lose weight?

Honestly, I put the treadmill at 10 incline and walk/jog quickly. Then every few minutes run really fast. Then slow jog again. I hope this helped and please be careful. Always wear shoes and the safety clip. I fell on the treadmill and burned/ripped off the skin on my ankle. I never will recover, so now I'm spreading awareness. Good.luck, hope all goes well! ;)
