No but you get letters from school confirming that that know. If your absent for like 50 days or something some schools will have a policeman escort you to school every day but I wouldnt worry about that. :|

i tend to b absent a lot too, i usually would get a letter sayin i need dr note after certain amounts of days missed, and sooner or later i could b sent to court, which nobody wants to deal with..hope that helped a little!

I was kicked out of class for being late. i was pissed because she made me go home and waste my education right there. it might be because they think its a distraction for other people and not fair to them because they get to come to class later for no reason or something else.

Well, in Hamtramck Academy, YES! I have been missing school alot lately, and it is not good. Even with doctor notes, I am still in big trouble. My parents have to go to school soon to have a meeting with some staff and make sure that I go to school all the time before 7:50. So you probably need to make sure you go to school every day at the earliest you can. Hope this helps.
