Will we ever pass close enough to a super-massive star to see it as a substantial celestial body?

well hypothetically speaking If we did then yes it probably be like looking at the moon except it being a super giant and at the same time orbiting closley to the earth it would look massive to the human eye.

just imagine a night sky with a hugh neighbouring planetvisible amongs the view of the sky, it would be like a scene in a science fiction game.
