If our sun(solar system) is orbiting the center of the galaxy, will we ever come close enough to a supergiant so that it appears more substantial than the average star visible in the night sky?

well hypothetically speaking If we did then yes it probably be like looking at the moon except it being a super giant and at the same time orbiting closley to the earth it would look massive to the human eye.
just imagine a night sky with a hugh neighbouring planetvisible amongs the view of the sky, it would be like a scene in a science fiction game.
