So I'm trying to get this job that requires my driving record to be checked. About 3 years ago I totaled a vehicle to dodge a dog that was in the road. No citation was issued to me but a police report was made and the owner of the dog was fined. I received no points on my licence but my insurance company told me that it will affect my rate. So obviously they can see that the accident happened. Will this affect my driving record and possibly my employment?
