I realize he is dead, but does that have to be the end of it?

I cannot imagine them using his likeness in the form of, say, a CGI character in any films as he simply hasn't been in any that might require it for a sequel or whatever plus it is still kind of sacriligious to use a deceased persons image for sheer monetary gain. That being said I would not be at all surprised to see a hologramatic Michael Jackson or Kurt Cobain being used to rake in more money for his family and/or record studio. But an actor is far more than just his or her image and no matter how advanced computers are these days (and the people who animate them of course) they are not able to capture the nuances that real people bring to a production... at the moment, perhaps in 50 years? Who can say...
