So, I'm going on to a language camp this summer and it'll be my first time by myself away from home for more than a week. I have never worn makeup before but I'd like to wear some this summer. And I have saved up enough money to get everything I need, but don't get me wrong, I'm not going to wear layers upon layers of makeup, I'm going for a NATURAL, nude look. So don't tell me not to wear makeup. Anyways, my mom doesn't know that I'm going to bring makeup on this trip, she'd say no if she knew (I'm 15, please don't tell me to ask her and please don't ask any questions about this, it's a personal situation and that's all). So I obviously don't want her to see that I have makeup.
Anyways, when you go on a plane (the last time I went on a plane was when I was 3), do they empty your bags and check everything? I know you are not allowed to bring more than 100ml of all makeup products, so do they check that? If they do check, will my mom see? Is there a place where I should put the makeup so that they don't check? Are there places they'll definitely check? Do they have sensors? Will my mom find out?!? Any advice?
