I was diagnosed with Aspergers' Syndrome and so was my girlfriend, but nobody can really tell. Anyways, if we were to have a kid, what are the odds of the child having autism?

Okay, this was posted three months ago, so you might not see this...
It is proven that Autism is hereditary - so it can be passed on from parent to child due to genetics. My dad has Asperger's, and had two children. I ended up having autism, and my sibling did not. If both you and your girlfriend have Asperger's, then it is extremely possible for you to have a child with autism. As not much is known about the genetic causes of Austism, no formula can really tell you the odds of having an autistic child.
I hope this helps. ;)
