I know my 2016 tax return has been offset for child support. I am nearly $4,000 dollars behind and my return is 2,000 dollars, so child support has taken my whole return. However, I have just recently did my 2014 tax return and I am expecting a $1,000 dollar return. In 2014 my child support was not in default, and I did not receive any notifications for a 2014 tax return offset. Will my 2014 tax return get offset as well, even though it is now 2016 tax season?
