I'm wondering if a motor out of 2000 hyundai tiburon 2.0 4-cylinder will work(basically interchange) in 2006 hyundai tiburon 2.0 4-cylinder. I have a 2000 model and am about to buy a 2006 model that has a blown motor. Will I be able to swap or am I going to have to buy a motor. Any info will help me. I know the 2000 models motor is a i 4 beta and the 2006 I think is also a i 4 but a beta 2

The RD2 from 2000 swapped out to the GK F/L for 2006? You should be able to do that, yes but you may need to modify the chassis. Ideally you need to approach a hyundai garage and talk to them. There may be issues that make the swop difficult, wiring, weight distribution, etc. In theory you can put any engine into any car (but you know that already) doing it and doing it legally are two different things. If you're a hobbyist with a few grand in your pocket then go for it if not then talk to a pro before putting any money on it.
