My friend has been living in a house with her partner for 10 years and neither of them have disclosed to the council that there are 2 occupants and thus her partner has been getting the 25% single occupant discount.
She wants to start living there legally but is worried the bill will be backdated - even though they don't know where she's been. I told her they wouldn't but thought I'd see if it says anywhere online and can't find anything useful, does anyone here know??
