I applied for CSU and was accepted (colorado state university) and plan to move up with my boyfriend from Florida to attend (I'm 18) and I didn't realize that freshman had to live on campus for 2 years. On their housing exemption form it says you can apply for exemption through legal union/marriage so we plan on getting a civil union license in Colorado in April and sending in an exemption form for housing but said it will just be considered. Are colleges strict with this? Do I have a good chance of getting exemption?
