Will a helium balloon pop if I write on it with a permanent marker?

i dont dare to write because i scared it might pop-ed since permanent marker has some ingredients of toxic?? Acid??

No it won't, the "acid" ingredients evaporate off very very quickly as part of the process of setting the ink. You could also buy friendly permanent markers too that don't contain the stronger chemicals you're worried about.

Oh, and you could also write on a sticker and stick that on the balloon instead avoiding all your worries.
