I want to replace a v6 engine in my 1998 camaro and put a 350 engine in it.

Yes and no. It will fit but many more problems will arise from doing this like the weak v6 trans trying to hold up to the torque of the 350, the throttle linkage is way different, you will have computer codes like crazy and the 85 v8 probobly wont even run as good as your 3800. If you want something faster i suggest to invest in one of comp cams xtreme energy cams. There are two cams an economy and proformance cam. They are both the same price its just up to you what you want. You will also have to change the valve springs, it should have a link to the perfect ones you need.
It might, but you will have no cruise control, no air condition and so on, as your engine control module needs a lot of information from different sensors and as the cruise control and air condition is also steered from the ecm as also the speedometer, the temperature sensors and the reverse light etc.
I'd recommend to sell the 98 V6 and to buy a proper Z28 instead, that also has a V8 in. Otherwise, replace the V6 with a Z28 engine newer than 1995 including all computer modules
