I've had this friend for almost 15 years and consider him family and would do anything for him and his kids. Out of the clear blue he has decided not to talk to me or acknowledge me when we see each other. Numerous times I have reached out to him for an answer but got nothing in return. We're both in our 40s and I value what friends I have and this is bothersome. Should I reach out to him one more time and ask what is going on and try to make things like they used to be?

You have 2 choices:
1. You can full on confront him in person or via text (if you can get him to respond) and ask him why he has just cut you out of his life.
2. If he doesn't respond then there is really nothing you can do at that point. You can let it go and give him space. If he wants to reconcile he will have to do it on his own. Focus on other friends and your kiddos. It's never easy to lose a friend but you can't force them to be in your life either.
Hope this helps!
