ive been using the sims for a little while and i said man i should download cc i followed instructions from a youtube video yet my content wont install please help

You might not have an expansion pack or patch/update required for it to show. And with different versions of games, that further adds problems. I and my sister have different versions of the same game. But a mod that shows up in her game will not show up in mine.
Another problem may reside with the Sims 3 site itself. I know, I have several complaints about Origin.
Unfortunately, there are too many causes and not enough answers. I'm still searching for the real reason why I'll never be able to install Story Progression mod.
