My puppy is 10 weeks old and we just had gotten him a little over a week ago..He is a yorkie..He does go to the bathroom outside and he is doing pretty well.. He sleeps through the entire night, until I get up for work at 4am. I let him outside he goes pee and poop and in we go.. He also holds his bladder ALL day while we are at work. I come home around 230 pm and let him out. He goes potty.. We praise him every single time he goes potty outside and we make sure he knows he did good. He never goes potty in his crate.He is actually really good with holding his bladder for being so young. Here is the issue.. Right after I take him outside and he goes pee.. He will come right back inside and pee on my carpet. ALSO... his new thing latley is.. When he goes outside. He rather play than go potty...He plays with leaves, the dirt and runs all over the yard. I activley play with him EVERY day that I come home for atleast 2 hours....Now let me just say we are in an apartment so the yard is not huge. It is also not blocked off. Yard it completley open to the road and other peoples yard. I do not want him running into other peoples yards. SO he will run all around, try to eat dirt and just go crazy ! Let me just tell you also that he will NOT wear his collar... He HATES it.. I put it on him and he lays down outside trying to bite it off.. He is actually so small that the collar doesnt fit his neck it is very loose. He manages to get it suck around the bottom part of his jaw and he manages to sneak his head right out. The collar and leash do NOTHING... I have sat outside with him for over 30 mins trying to get him to " go potty" and he will not go ! The moment I bring him inside he will go potty on the carpet... HELP please I dont know what else to do.. I about had it. Some good advice would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks in advance !
