Why was the chuch on the 16th street bombed in 1963??

Unfortunately it was a racially motivated bombing of the Birmingham's Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, which resulted in the death of four innocent black girls! The bombing came as a result of heightened tensions in the city after a federal court ordered its schools to be integrated. :0((((
