Why to research the human brain?

The human brain is an unsolved mystery. To research it broadens our insight and gives us more of an opportunity to give praise and credit to the one who created it.

A computer is designed to take in and calculate a great deal of information. How does this compare to the human brain that came up with that design. Every second some 100 million bits of information pour into the brain from the various senses. The mind not only survives the avalanche of information, but handles it with ease.

The capability that is built into the human brain enables us to construct the human intellect. And, unlike animals, we have the free will to program our intellects as we choose, based on our own knowledge, values, opportunities and goals.
Is it not evident that man’s intellectual qualities mirror those of a Supreme Intellect? This harmonizes with Genesis 1:27, which states: “God proceeded to create the man in his image.” No one or nothing else was spoken of in this way.

“I shall laud you because in a fear-inspiring way I am wonderfully made". Said one writer of the Bible. Psalm 139:14

As we explore and grow in our knowledge of the body and the world around us, if we allow ourselves we will be able to appreciate this one main thought:
(Romans 1:20) For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship.
