zats cuz when u c z earth using z birds eye view from up zer, it almost looks blue because of z large amount of water zer is. 71% of z earth is filled by water bodies . zat makes z earth look blue.

earth is called blue planet because there is 72% water in earth which looks blue from the space thus our earth is called blue planet
earth called blue planet because 3/4 of its part was composed of different body of waters.
Bcoz in earth here is so many green plants natures n jungles.
