Individuals in our country tend to have social media profiles rather than having a website. They decorate their profiles with professional images and content. Update them regularly. Share posts on various topics. Some also post videos on their profiles. We can say that they are very professional in the game of marketing themselves in the public forum. But the main concern is, are they doing it the right way?
Why should individuals have their own websites over multiple social media profiles?

If you have your own site no one can censor you, except for the server owner or government. Another reason is privacy. The platforms sell all your data like, who your friends are, what you buy, your daily schedule, where you are at what time, your interests, politics etc... A lot of the info comes from your phone. Android is Google. I phone is just like Google, it sells all your data . Your phone is always spying on you. It has been proven by Harvard that add targeting often comes from your phone conversations. Once you give a platform you phone # it is all connected.
