When I'm clapping my hands I get tingly sensations in my lower jaw, around collarbones and shoulders. It's not painful at all, just irritating and curious. I'm not anxious or tense nor do I have any illnesses that can cause this. I have pretty sensitive nervous system but I can't be only one experiencing this, can I? 25/f.

Well there is a 'thing' to where you rub the soft part of your hand the is between you index finger and thumb, Maybe it's how you clap rather then when you clap? If you clap by holding one hand out and cuffing both and then doing the motion needed to make the "clap" Noise, That may be triggering a numbing sensation. Although if you do clap like in a 'Prayer' type of hand positioning, I would maybe see a dentist about that, or go schedule an E.K.G; And/or Maybe get a check up by an ENT Physician. Just a to make sure nothing is wrong around the upper area.
