I went skating on Sunday and this girl who thought she was so pro at roller skating decided to use her phone without looking up once in a while and bumped into me causing me to land on my left knee really hard. At first, I thought nothing of it since it just stung really bad, but after a few hours, a really big and nasty bruise formed.
I knew it usually lasts about two weeks or so, but does it also feel as if it's numb? It doesn't hurt if I press onto it even really hard, but it feels numb. The only time my knee would hurt is if I make a somewhat quick and sudden movement like if my leg was straight and I would suddenly bend it. Should I see a doctor or is this normal for a bruise the bad?
Why is there a numbing feeling on my bruise?

Normal. A severe bruise turns colors because of damage to the capillaries near the surface of your skin, and the same bruise will become "numb" from damage to the near surface nerves in and under your skin, with each symptom more pronounced depending on the severity of the injury.
