Why is the ratio of neutrons to protons higher in Barium-130 than in Carbon-13? [3?

Nothing is known about neutrons except that atoms have to have some, only certain ratios work, and the bigger the atoms get, the farther apart the workable ratios get. That is called "islands of stability".
