Why is safety important in a computer lab?

Safety is important in every workplace, in every industry, and this includes the computer lab as there are present and potential risks that are present. Some of them would include ergonomic hazards, proper seating posture, monitor height and distance, mouse pad and wrist rest, etc. And given these hazards, there are safety precautions and safety measures that should be implemented like frequent breaks and stand and stretch.
