Why is nuclear energy a valuable resource?

The reson why Nuclear fuel is much attractive that it decreses our dependance of fossil fuels. Burning fossil fuel (oil,gas and coal) increases greenhouse gases,but there is a limited supply and we quickly using up our reserves.
**Since nuclear fule contains much more energy than a simila mass of hydrocarbons and fuels, nuclear energy has been an attractive alternative to carbon-based fuels.
With emerging economies like in India,China and Russia, the need for more energy is straining the ability to keep up the supply for every increasing demand.
