Why is my troybilt mower blowing fuses. after changing , it will not start?

did not know they made electric.they have a good rep. sounds like a short which could be in cord,switch or motor and if using a power supply could be burnt or motor itself may be gone.check cord and plug first & look for any wire loose which touches frame,is cut by blade,etc.if motor is brush type,brushes worn too short also can do it.
