My IG search bar on my explore page is showing 3 people I didn't search for. One of them being a guy I have blocked so I know I didn't search his page. Is this the algorithm not knowing I have them blocked and suggesting pages or something?

Instagram's search suggestions are generated based on a combination of factors, including your interactions on the platform, your followers, the content you engage with, and your search history. However, sometimes the suggestions may appear to show people you haven't actively searched for due to the platform's algorithm trying to enhance user experience by showing potentially interesting accounts based on your activity and connections. It may also consider profiles similar to those you've previously interacted with or are associated with your followers. Additionally, Instagram continually refines its algorithm, which can occasionally lead to unexpected or seemingly unrelated suggestions. If you have privacy concerns, it's essential to adjust your account settings to control who can find and follow you or clear your search history to minimize these suggestions.
