My 2 and 1/2 year old cat has suddenly started to growl, hiss and swat at me and her 2 kittens (they're about 5 months old). She is not spayed or had any of her shots. This is not like her, I've always been able to pick her up and now all of the sudden she has become a monster. What should I do? I really don't have the money for a vet, although I will be getting them
All spayed asap, i can't afford anything else, since it's going to already cost me $435 per cat for the spay and shots
Why is my female cat suddenly aggressive?

Girl cats who are not spayed are just as aggressive as fixed boy cats. Here are the following steps to take:
1. Use dangling toys like jingle balls or fishing poles
2. When she acts aggressive, hiss at her or blast a can of compressed air.
3. When she misbehaves, don't give her positive attention.
4. Buy a spray bottle of water and monitor her while still giving her space. When she starts acting aggressive, spray her.
5. Do not grab her, but encourage her to go into a room separate from her kittens with food, water, toys, and litter just for her. Keep them separate for at least a week or until she stops acting aggressive.
6. Once she stops, slowly introduce her back to her kittens.
Remember: Don't touch or grab her.
