I worked for this retail job from 2012 to 2013. I gave them a two week notice because I couldnt handle their poor hours and pay, and then scored a banking job a couple of months later. I stood with the bank for 8 months in 2014, and then left them when I was offered a better paying banking position elsewhere. About 4 months later the new banking job fired me because they felt I didnt improve in training, which is why I was approved for unemployment. What does my retail job have to do with this though, and why are they contesting my unemployment?

its probably because they don't want you drawing unemployment off them thats normally because you quit and when it comes to unemployment you can't quit you have to have a good reason for quiting if it isn't a good reason for quiting they won't give unemployment to you something if your fired they don't have to give you unemployment for that either it also depends on the reason that you were let go also
Yeah but they didnt let me go, I quit. The job that let me go was the bank job, and they let me go for a good enough reason to get unemployment hence why i have been getting it. I dont understand why the job that I voluntarily quit back in 2013 has anything to do with the job that let me go 2 months ago, or the job I had before that one.
