My three year old terrior-x has been an inside dog since we picked him up from the RSPCA two years ago. he has a doggy-door located in the laundry which he has been using without a worry for the past two years. In the past month however, he has started to pee inside, but never poo. We think it may be due to the colder weather and him not wanting to go outside. He does it at least once a day, and during the night aswell. No one is home during the day, therefore it is hard for us to monitor his toilet habits. We just can't bear to have him locked in the laundry with his doggy door during the day and while we sleep, but we're afriad there will not be any other ulternative!

It could be the weather, like you said... or he could just be taking 'revenge pisses'. No joke, some dogs will do this is you displease them. It could be that he's alone so much that he's acting out to get attention.
Best course of action, consult a professional dog trainer or even your local vet.
