Whenever I talk to anyone they always tell me to speak up when to me it already sounds like I'm talking like everyone else. When I speak up it sounds like I'm shouting really loudly but everyone else hears me like normal. Is there a reason because of this? I thought it would be because I'm really shy and small but I don't know. I can't keep shouting at the top of my voice at school and stuff because it gives me a really sore throat. The other day I decided to record my voice and when I listened it sounded surprisingly quiet, couldn't even hear one word. Anyway to help please??

I can relate to your problem. I am also a very shy person, and trust me I hear that all the time "Speak up" "Don't be shy" "We don't bite" it drives me crazy. Maybe when you talk, use the power from your chest because what it sounds like is you're straining your throat too much and that is what is making it sore. Try to use the power from your chest/ stomach when you talk to it will not put as much pressure on your throat.
