I got my nose pierced and it s almost been 2 months since I pierced it. I started off with a stud but it kept stabbing and scratching the inside of my nose so I changed it into a silver hoop about 2 weeks ago (surgical steel) and i stayed at the same gauge size. But I woke up a couple days ago and it hurts so bad. When it s just sitting there it doesn t hurt but when I barley even touch it it hurts so bad. It s barley swollen at all and it s not red. The hole seems a lot tighter but that might be due to the swelling. It s not oozing or crusty at all either. I keep it clean. I don t know if it s infected or I maybe yanked on it when I was sleeping in not sure. Any ideas on what could be wrong or how to help?
