I slipped on wet grass three or four years ago and injured my tailbone. I'm not sure what I did to it, and I never went in to get in checked out. It was really difficult to move for a few days after I fell, and it took a few months before it stopped hurting when I walked. I didn't think it could be very serious, and neither did my parents. They said it would go away, but to this day when I sit on a hard surface for an extended amount of time I find it hard to stand up and it really starts to hurt again. Was is more serious than we thought and should I get it checked out?
