Now I'm afraid to promote my page.
$0.10 is a great price for a LIKE, while $1.80 is way too high. Shouldn't there be some kind of consistency?
Why does my Facebook page promotions ads yeild a return ranging from $0.10 to $1.80 per LIKE.??

because FB does not charge you for the likes you get but for the deliveries it makes - the number of people who were 'served' with your page. if the page is non-appealing to them they would not like it but you will still be charged. The PPL is a statistic offered is not a price. If you noticed, the range of likes estimate is quite wide: for a 1 USD daily budget it should be somewhere between 18-40 likes per day. But still it is just an estimation. If you promote your page to the same target audience all the time it is obvious that the incremental likes would cost more as the public is already saturated with the offer. Try to combine page promotion with some specific posts promotion - viral stuff that would be then shared and then increase your chances to get additional likes.
Thank you for your response! I understood what you said. The only thing is though, the times that i received more likes was because FB showed it to more people (for the same money). Example: 05/06/14 I run a campaign for $5 X 4 days; i get in return 3000 impressions and 200 likes. On 05/09/14 i run the same campaign and only get 500 impressions and 50 likes... How does that make sense?
I wasn't asking what i'm getting, i know what i got. I was looking over my old campaigns because i realized that i'm getting less likes (for the same amount of money). Maybe on a new page Facebook shows your page to more people to hook you in, once satisfied with the results they show it to a lot less people even though you pay the same money. That's my theory.
