My home's base load energy draw is 0.09 kW when no significant loads are being used (no lights, fridge, furnace fan, etc). When I shut the air conditioner breaker off it drops to 0.04 kW. I repeated this several times, so it is not normal load fluctuation. I've left the breaker off for now, since it is 9F outside, and I don't think I'll need the AC until at least April.
