Why do you/others drink bottled water instead of tap water ?

Well water, especially well water in farming areas, tends to be a bit of a mess. People have to turn their water heraters up or down trying to find a temperature that kills the bacteria. If they guess wrong, the water runs black. In my town the cold water is often brown, which settles as mud in the toilet bowl, and tonight the water has been brown, orange, and now pink. But even in areas that have superb city water, people like bottles just to have the bottles. A group throwing a party in the park would have a problem locating a barrell good enough to carry drinking water, but they can stop at any grocery store and get a few cases of bottled water. Here in southwest USA we have stores that only sell water and ice. A lot of them. And it is because it is so convenient that way.
